The rest of the team has been done to the same stage and hopefully I'll be able to show some more off soon.
Currently the Jetz are sitting third in the table but I'm hoping a (long overdue) completed paint job will fire them to the top of the league!

With a spare five minutes, I thought I would see if I could change a Blood Bowl token. I don't own a dremmel or it would have been much easier but as it was, scraping this out with a knife wasn't too bad. This will be for the wife's Pink Rhinos team. A little bit of green stuff and some tidying and it'll be ready to paint.
Speaking of which, the Jetz are coming along, but I've not finished the second one coats of all the base colours yet (I do one layer of each colour) so once that's done, hopefully I'll get motoring!

I've decided to do a little bit more work on the humans in the Blood Bowl 2016 set. Already I have removed the helmet crests on the miniatures that have them, and now I'm intending to take the winged edges off of the face guards. These bits are positioned on the sides of the helmet. In the picture you can see the catcher with these wing bits removed.
I've also got a plan for the 'coin' token which will be my next post.

So, in the attempt of teaching the rules as simply as possible, I decided to make a quick Nurgling card...
And with that we started play. I did the honourable thing in suggesting plays, which ended up with me loosing 2-0! And the lighlight of the game, last turn and the Rhinos tried a long bomb. The linesman in the end zone dropped the ball, it scattered around and went off the pitch a couple of times and then the linesman intercepted the throw in with a 6!

It's really simple, but as yet none of the people I regularly play against have done it. Not sure if I'll remove anything else yet, but I have got some hand/head/random body part swaps lined up.
Anyone else convert their blood bowl teams from the box?

I've not really talked about my love of Frostgrave on my blog as yet, but I do absolutely love this game! Whilst I'm busy tidying my base coats on the Jetz I wanted to share a couple of my favourite miniatures that I've painted to use in the frozen city.
Here we have Tryk Loosepaw, a recent recruit to Malamax's fellowship of the long forgotten grudge.
Tryk is flanked by a couple of Imps from the beastiary, these are from Mantics range of Abyssals.
One day I'll complete the whole selection of random encounters... one day!
